Two general points

• Red icons are unread items, blue/grey are read
• A star on any thread means you have posted in it

For example:

- Read topic (No one has posted to this topic since your last visit)

- Unread topic (Someone has posted to this topic since your last visit)

- Read topic that you have posted in

- Unread topic that you have posted in

- Announcements from the administrators.

- Sticky thread

- Locked thread

- Moved thread
